This page outlines our shipping policies, methods, and timelines. Please review carefully before placing an order.

Shipping Overview

Shipping procedures vary depending on the type of product ordered. Certain items—such as suppressors—are regulated and subject to additional legal requirements.

Suppressors (NFA-Regulated Items)

Suppressors are regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA) and cannot be shipped directly to customers.

How Suppressor Shipping Works

  • Suppressors must be shipped to a properly licensed FFL with a Special Occupational Tax (SOT) holder.
  • The suppressor will remain with the FFL/SOT until all ATF requirements are completed and approval is granted.
  • Customers are responsible for selecting an eligible FFL/SOT prior to or during checkout.

Important Notes

  • Shipping of suppressors occurs only after all required paperwork is complete.
  • ATF approval timelines are controlled by the ATF and are outside of our control.
  • Suppressor orders cannot be expedited.

Non-NFA Items

Non-regulated products—including mounts, tools, apparel, and accessories—ship directly to the customer’s provided address.

Shipping Destinations

United States Only

We currently ship within the United States only.

  • Suppressors are shipped only to states where legal.
  • Non-NFA items may ship to most U.S. addresses, subject to carrier restrictions.

Orders placed from restricted jurisdictions may be canceled.

Processing Times

Order Processing

  • In-stock non-NFA items typically ship within 1–3 business days.
  • Apparel may ship separately and may have extended processing times.
  • Suppressor orders follow regulatory timelines and are not subject to standard processing estimates.

Processing times may be longer during high-volume periods, holidays, or product launches.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

We ship using reputable carriers such as:

  • UPS
  • FedEx
  • USPS

Carrier selection and shipping method are determined at checkout or at our discretion based on product type.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Item type
  • Shipping destination
  • Selected shipping method

Shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of our error.

Tracking Information

Once your order ships:

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email
  • Tracking information will be provided for eligible items

Suppressor transfers may not include standard tracking updates due to the nature of regulated shipping.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Tuna Cans USA is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Packages returned due to address errors

Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.

Lost or Damaged Packages

If a package arrives damaged or is lost in transit:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the packaging and item (if applicable)

We will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue when possible.

Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse shipment to certain locations
  • Cancel orders that cannot be legally or safely shipped
