This Refund & Returns Policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled for products purchased from Tuna Cans USA (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Overview

Due to the nature of our products—including NFA-regulated items—refunds and returns are subject to strict conditions. Please review this policy carefully before purchasing.

Different product categories have different return eligibility.

2. NFA-Regulated Items (Suppressors)

❌ All Suppressor Sales Are Final For Silencers

Suppressors are non-returnable and non-refundable once an order is placed.

This includes:

  • Orders pending ATF approval
  • Orders in transfer to an FFL/SOT
  • Orders awaiting customer paperwork

Once a suppressor order is submitted, it cannot be canceled or refunded for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • ATF denial or delay
  • Change of mind
  • Moving to a restricted state
  • Failure to complete required paperwork

Customers are responsible for ensuring suppressor legality and eligibility prior to purchase.

⚠️ ATF Denial

If an ATF application is denied, the suppressor remains subject to federal law and once returned we will refund minus a restocking fee to cover shipping and costs.

3. Mounts, Tools, and Non-NFA Accessories

Eligible Returns

Mounts, tools, and non-NFA accessories may be returned under the following conditions:

  • Return request submitted within 14 days of delivery
  • Item is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
  • All included components are returned

Non-Returnable Conditions

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • Item shows signs of use, installation, or wear
  • Packaging is damaged or incomplete
  • Item was modified or altered
  • Item was sold as final sale or clearance

4. Apparel

Apparel Returns

Unworn and unwashed apparel items may be returned within 48 Hours of delivery.

  • Items must be in original condition with tags attached
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping

Exchanges for size may be offered depending on availability.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Suppressors (NFA items)
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Digital products
  • Custom or special-order items

6. How to Initiate a Return (Eligible Items Only)

  1. Contact us at refunds@tuna-cans.com with:
    • Order number
    • Item(s) you wish to return
    • Reason for return
  2. If approved, we will provide return instructions.

Do not send items back without authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

7. Refund Processing

Once an approved return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Refund processing may take 7–14 business days

If the item does not meet return eligibility, the refund may be denied and the item returned at the customer’s expense.

8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include photos of the item and packaging

We will work with you to resolve the issue through replacement or repair where applicable.

Suppressor-related issues should be handled through our Warranty Policy, not refunds.

9. Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • Tuna Cans USA is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments

10. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before processing begins for eligible non-NFA items.

Once processing, fulfillment, or regulatory steps begin, cancellations are not permitted.

Suppressor orders cannot be canceled once placed.

11. Legal Compliance

All refunds, returns, and transfers must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws. We reserve the right to refuse returns that violate legal or safety requirements.

12. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes apply prospectively and will not affect previously placed orders.
