Legal & NFA Questions

Are suppressors legal?

Suppressor legality varies by state and local law. It is your responsibility to confirm that suppressors are legal to own and use in your jurisdiction.

Do I need a tax stamp to purchase a suppressor?

Yes. Suppressors are regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA) and generally require:

  • A completed ATF application
  • A $200 federal tax stamp
  • Approval from the ATF before transfer

How long does ATF approval take?

Approval times vary and are controlled entirely by the ATF. Current wait times can range from several weeks to several months.

Tuna Cans USA has no control over approval timelines.

Shipping & Transfers

Do you ship suppressors directly to my home?

Suppressors must be transferred through a properly licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) with a Special Occupational Tax (SOT).

We will ship your suppressor to the designated FFL/SOT once all required steps are completed.

Do you ship to all states?

We ship only to states where suppressors are legal. Orders placed from restricted jurisdictions may be canceled.

What about non-NFA accessories?

Non-regulated accessories may ship directly to your home, depending on the product.

Warranty & Support

Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes. All products are covered by our limited Lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

At this time, we do not offer public tours of our manufacturing facilities.

Do you offer military, law enforcement, or dealer pricing?

We 20% offer special pricing for military, law enforcement agencies. We have a wholesale login.

Do you sell internationally?

Currently, we sell only within the United States and do not offer international sales or exports. We are awaiting ITAR licensing to sell internationally.
